POLICE HAVE arrested more than 60 people connected with a site which openly brokered the sale of stolen credit card details.

The raids, which took place in London, Manchester Humberside and South Yorkshire, collared 11 suspects in the UK on top of those nabbed in Germany, Turkey and the US.

Darkmarket, which operated on an invitation only basis, was seen as a one-stop supermarket for international criminals where you could buy data swiped from the magnetic strips on high value credit cards for less than a pound each.

It has been reported that one user spent £250,000 on the site in a period of six weeks. µ

"Did he...
use a credit card on the $250,000 purchase?"

Let's hope he gets insurance on purchases as standard!
