Mail exposes Facebook scam

Mail hacks have found a "shock horror" story on Facebook where someone claimed to have found some poor woman's digital camera which she lost on holiday. The person who had found the camera was posting the pictures in the hope of finding the woman. Yet some of the pictures were of the poor woman taking her clothes off.

The pictures, which were duplicated by the Mail in the interests of getting more naked women in the paper, show the woman in various states of undress. Apparently hundreds of people wrote into the Facebook site offering support and trying to identify the woman.

Alas the investigative hacks of the Mail found out that it was all a clever viral marketing scam for a porn site and the woman was none other than "Wendy", a model who poses for X-rated pictures online.

When faced with the Mail outing its activities, the unnamed Porn site came clean. More here. µ
