AMD occupies Fort Collins

The Coloradoan said that AMD signed a lease earlier this week to plant chip designers into former LSI Logic
premises in Fort Collins.
The paper said in time as many as 200 designers, support and product marketing AMD people will work there.
AMD has a presence already in Fort Collins - the paper says a "few dozen" employees are working at a temporary site near the Marriott hotel.
A few AMD employees from Longmont, slated to close with 180 redundancies, will also man the ramparts in the Fort Collins site.
HP had a team of engineers working at Fort Collins - they became part of Intel's Itanium team as things came to pass. µ
