Seagate shows off UWB device

But it's just a demo, comprends?

WIMEDIA MB-OFDM Ultra-wideband (UWB) devices have been tipping in greater numbers since this years CES show in January.

Seagate had this unit pictured below on display at the Intel Developers Forum last month quietly, in a corner of their booth.

Not only did it work on battery power, it was able to wirelessly stream video from the device to a nearby workstation. Seagate commented that it was only a technology demonstration however and not a final product design. So we wait for the final product design. µ
