Microsoft will go to the Gulag

But not quite certain where

A REPORT SAID Microsoft is to exile itself to Siberia and build a data centre near Irkutsk.

According to Computer World, Microsoft has confirmed it is interested in building a data centre in the barren wastes, but it hasn't chosen a site yet.

One advantage, according to the report, is that power supplies are good in Siberia.

It already has an area called Siberia in Redmond - it's called Parking Lot Siberia because it's so far from the hub of power ruled over by Steve " whispering" Ballmer. ยต
