Intel's Metro laptop revealed

But it's a concept only
Mon May 28 2007, 10:01
HACKS AT AeroXperience got their paws on a prototype of Intel's new super-thin Metro-laptop at the recent Windows Hardware Engineering Conference.

The laptop has only been seen in marketing shots, so snaps of the open laptop running an eink display with a 1080p video was a bit of a scoop.

The results can be seen on Engadget , but according to an Intel representative you should not expect to see it in the shops soon. Intel is producing the Metro as a concept only in the vague hope that its OEMs would follow the spec. µ
