Yahoo and Microsoft talk merger again

Will you, won't you? Will $50 billion help?

TWO GIANTS are considering traipsing up the aisle together in a weird marriage of convenience, the Wall Street Journal reports.

It said that Microsoft and Yahoo are considering merging in order to take on the goodie two shoes of search tech, the Great Google.

The newspaper said that the talks are at an early stage, and follow a previous flirtation this time last year that didn't lead to anything - not even a common law marriage.

The Vole! might have to pay as much as $50 billion to bed Lady Yahoo! µ
