FNG Roll call
No FNG's at this time as we are moving too fast to hit at the moment. Now that we are linked from the Inq it should liven up. From last week we did have 3GEEZER who should have a proper mention I guess.

The time wasters club
Lets do away with this as we start anew shall we. It's the same gits every week. Though if Frnht wants to post it on the forum we can at least take some time to ridicule each other.

Weekly Folly
Well near as I can tell (still have allot of catching up to do) all the talk this week was in new forum related stuff. Thanks to the stingy bastards, who couldn't code an error message generator over at Dulphi (I can say that now), we have moved on to our own forum at http://www.hermitscave.org/. There was in an interim forum at some place or other, but that's gone now, so pay it no never mind. Hopefully Frnht will import all that so the important, witty and intelligent discourse will be forever saved for the benefit of all humanity.

I must say that I am rather impressed at all those involved (Mostly Frnht and his bots and SGF), in getting a new forum up and running have done a rather impressive job (two in one week). Still a few bugs to flatten, then we'll be running on completely flat bugs. And thanks to Alex for the server space. And Mikey, a few weeks ago he was concerned, but has come around and given us his blessing on our new home turf.

Unfortunately, all this forum talk has led to a rather high geek benchmark on the discussions. So there was all sorts of wibble, and not a little well deserved complaining about Delphi. In the latest of the forums Word Bloody association got started up, and a few people thought it might be okay to start up Mornington Bloody Crescent again. Spinola may be a little busy at the moment, but he will be in form again soon.

Now I hate to say this. The most popular thread of the week was started by DINQ and was one of those bash American thingies. Speaking of which, where has KRAP gone, or have I just missed him.

I'd comment on what happened to the second forum from the left, but I can't get to it anymore.

SOTD Bunch of crap. Specially all those posts about the bandwidth everyone has. My eyes just glazed over.

Software Sucks Whole lot of crap in here, including the novel business idea of bundling furniture with software. Lots of Mac bashing here for those that like that sort of thing (Hi Flassman!). Including a letter from one guy who drives a Jag and loves Mac's. Talk about someone for whom the repairs are more important than the trip.

DELL Crap laptops SDMYHIENEY was doing some venting about some supposed laptop he has. Main problems were like lack of floppy drives and handles.

Well Gotta get into Gomorrah and head back to NY city. Well see what we can't get together next week for ya'll.

I want to apologize about going off on a rant like I did. Not that I never rant but this one wasn't even connected to anything or anyone connected to the forum. Why? Earlier this last week I had taken my usual 6 months physical. Blow in a tube and make a little wheel go round, blow in ballons and they measure oxygen. plus the nurse taking a dozen blood samples. Pat on the head and no sucker/lollipop for being a good boy and out the door.

Friday the Doc asked me to come in for a short visit. Ewww! Turns out the nice Doctor wants me to think about getting my lungs stapled. I've known for the last five years that emphysema isn't something that gets better. Doesn't stay the same condition either. But ya kinda push that aside. Asked him when? Welllll that's according. Just want you to be aware that there are things that can be done. No it's not a cure but does in most cases bring relief. Well whoopdedooo! It was a real reality check. The Hermit ain't as invincible as he likes to think he is. Damn! Gotta bunch of anger to work out, couple of tourists to run over and a cat or two to kick and I'll be back to what is regarded as normal for me. No sympathy for gawds sakes. It's something that can happen to anyone that had a two pack a day habit for 50 years and there's millions of people that are much worse off.

This is kinda screwed up even for me but what the h3ll.
