THE ONE LAPTOP PER CHILD charity group is helping Nigerian kids browse porn online, according to the official News Agency of Nigeria.

According to the NAN, reporters had seen pornographic images being kept on several of the children's laptops. The One Laptop Per Child group exists to promote education by giving free educational PCs to kids.

Reuters has reported that a One Laptop Per Child representative has mentioned that the pilot scheme computers will be now fitted with filters to block out inappropriate material.

The NAN paper was quoted as saying that "efforts to promote learning with laptops in a primary school in Abuja have gone awry as the pupils freely browse adult sites with explicit sexual materials." Adult sites, or extreme biology? µ
