The concept is pretty simple, you have a little trackball on a ring with three buttons. It has a USB cable off the back, and you can mouse in thin air without any surface, great for presentations, not all that great for FPSes.
I used it briefly, and it worked well enough. The trackball was precise, the buttons on the bottom were intuitive to find, and the scroll button worked about as well as any other non-native scrolling solution, basically badly.
That said, my only qualms about the mouse were the fact that it had a trackball instead of an optical sensor. Trackballs are not a good technology for mousing, but given that the latest Blackberrys have them, I guess they can be made to last.

In addition to the USB version, there is a wireless variant. It has a wristwatch like module with a cable to the ring finger. The mouse itself is exactly the same, the only addition is the battery and RF transmitter on the wrist.
Globlink say they are mass production ready, just waiting for customers to throw the switch. They will cost about $9 in quantity, double that for the wireless version. Given how the channel works, you should see them for about $30 and $50 by the time they end up at the local Big Box.ยต
