AMD joins Kode 5 finals in China

But what about ATI?
Mon Jul 31 2006, 10:23
AFTER Foxconn, Razr and Corsair the smaller CPU manufacturer, AMD, announced support for the upcoming Kode5 Revolution gaming tournament in China.

The finals will take place in Continental China shortly after the end of summer and we are approaching the Kode 5 Quake 4 finals that are about to happen on the 23rd of August in Leipzig, Germany.

China doesn't like the violent 3D games and that was only of the reasons why Kode 5 crew had to organise the finals in Germany and show the bloody Quake 4 to the tons on teens at the show.

AMD has to work hard on its image as Conroe is way faster than the FX, but we are sure that AMD will be fine as it works at expensive but efficient 4x4 and AMD has some quad cores down the road.

We would not be surprised if ATI jumps on the bandwagon and support this gaming tournament as it is kind of in the bed with AMD. We will keep our eyes open. µ
