Stapler gets RFID make over

Can find most things

THE HUMBLE stapler is about to get an RFID upgrade thanks to a new gizmo about to hit the shops.

Boffins at Swingline have worked out a way of sticking an RFID tag into a staple. This means that if you are looking for an important stapled document in a pile of paper you can radio its location with a tracking device.

Of course the tracking device will be fooled if the document has left the premises but that will save you a lot of time looking.

Unfortunately all this stapling tag systems might be a bit screwed up if you have a staple fight with your colleagues or stick your work mate's stapler in a jelly, as you do.
