Intel's "cowputer" in agony from CD constipation

Computex 2003 The poor animal is in agony
Sun Sep 28 2003, 11:21
YOU MAY REMEMBER we carried pictures of the "modded" PCs Intel was showing at its mega-stand at Computex last week.

We wouldn't normally bother you with this again, but thought you might appreciate the words Wang Goo-shun attached to the "Generations Ahead" machine.

Intel says, in that oval space above the Cowputer on the left: "Literally inspired by the word 'computer', the artist inverts the letter 'm' to spell COWPUTER and thus the shape of cow.

"Built in steel, the artist especially goes to a steel factory and school workshop to do the cutting.

"Rotating the cow's nipple starts up the computer and the CD player is fitted at the ass operated by suction.

"The poor animal is in agony as the sucked in CD causes constipation, according to the artist.

"The artist is a graduate student of geology major at National Taiwan University, keenon (sic) computer DIY, graphics and handicrafts. The work is his first attempt at refashioning PC looks".
