AN INSERT [fnarr, Ed.] for computer software protection which the Advanced Group distributed through the Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce Magazine was criticised by the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA).

A member of the public had complained that the word ORGIES was printed in large red letters on the insert and on the reverse a headline said "Is someone going to see you coming", next to a picture of an unravelled condom.

ORGIES, said Advanced, stands for "operational recovery guaranteed in every situation".

The complainant said that the insert was disgusting and offensive.

The ASA agreed. The Chambers of Commerce in Cambridge said they had pulled the insert from circulation as soon as a senior member had seen it.

The ASA said it had told Advanced not to use the insert again. µ
