Interviews with the Internet gods unveiled

Defcon 2006 Part 1: Paul Vixie
Mon Aug 07 2006, 06:11
SOME OF YOU may know Paul Vixie for his dalliances with DNS, mainly that he wrote it and is the primary author on BIND through version 8. He also has a long history of other things, you can read about some of them here.

We caught up with Paul at Defcon, and did the first of a new series of interviews, in this case, Internet Gods, as a compliment to our multi-award winning Gaming Gods interview series ( here and here). We hope this imparts as much wisdom as is possible for a person to absorb over the course of two to three hours. Enjoy.

Note: Some answers may be slightly paraphrased.

Vixie: DNS is kind of like a bush.
Inquirer: Thank you. µ
