ATI to showcase physics GPUs at Computex

Fizz, bang wallop

WE HEAR THAT the red team has prepared a live demo of some fancy physics on Crossfire cards.

We suspect you'll need at least two cards to show off the real power and assist the CPU in performing the cool-looking stuff.

Back at Cebit, we learned that ATI wants to get very aggressive about physics and to give Ageia a hard time in the label game.

Nvidia too is working hard on its drivers that can support advanced Physics in its GPU.

We expected first results later this year but ATI is ready to unveil bits and pieces at Computex next week.

I hear that Tuesday will be a very interesting day for everyone. ยต
