Dell to sell PCs as touchy-feely things

Not on price
Mon Jul 10 2006, 10:57
HARDWARE FIRM Dell is repositioning itself as a PC firm that beats everyone on price to one that makes machines which will improve your life.

That's according to a report in the Wall Street Journal today, which said a mammoth ad campaign from the firm will focus on how a PC can make your life more enjoyable by playing games and editing films.

The Journal said it's following the lead of HP, which had famous people talking about their PCs.

Dell will focus on its brand rather than pricing and performance. µ
