How it works is very simple, you have some liquid metal and some pipes and metal will actually circle the pipes using electromagnetic phenomenon and will be able to cool the card just fine. Some early testing showed that prototype cooled Radeon X850XT PE card to just 12 Celsius.
The company will show off some early prototypes of the card at E3 and at this time liquid metal cooling will have some fans on while a final design might lose the fans. It can work completely fan ess and can cool the high end fastest and latest greatest cards.
Sapphire will have this product ready in July and will launch many other SKUs based on it.
This is how the prototype card looks like and we will tell you more about the card when we see it live. Just for the record, the prototype card still has fans while the final design will lose them.
Will revolutionise online shopping, apparently
