ANAND TECH brings yet another review highlighting the fact that ULI has a real winner on its hand. The M1695 PCIe/AGP reference board provided not only overclocks well but it offers some unique features like native PCie and AGP support as well as the possibility to have two PCIe cards installed in a SLI-like setup. If ULI succeeds in executing its implementation, SIS and VIA will have a real fight on their hands.

Hardtecs4u brings us some reviews. A comparison of the Intel Pentium 670, the Pentium D 840 and the Pentium EE 840. Doesn't have the necessary German skills to be able to interprete the conclusion. Benchmarks do exist though and you will be surprised at some results. There's another review on the Yeong Yang YY 4301 which is a microBTX casing. Yeong Yang might not be known to many of us but I fondly remember its gigantic cube black server case on wheels. Loads of photos and information. If you can do with an approximate translation, try Google's translation.

Hexus checks the first ATI AIW PCI-e card launched. This is only a preview though. The X800XL is not your usual card. With a DVB-T capable Silicon tuner coupled with the X800XL GPU, you also get a 3rd generation remote control as well as an upgraded MMC. A full review will come soon with a Theater 550 Pro TV Tuner for dual tuner testing. More from them and ATI as they put the Powercolor X800XL 512MB card to test followed by the XFX Geforce 6800 Ultra card with the same amount of memory. Clearly, those two are not in the same category and if you are not a regular gamer, it will prove a better investment to put the memory elsewhere. Same conclusion as reached over with other 512MB cards. No value for money, cheaper and more powerful cards are available.

PCmagazine reviews the cheapest RRPed Laser pritner. At just $99, the Dell Laser Printer 1100 marks the beginning of the end journey for monochrome laser printers. With a speed of 15ppm and a quoted resolution of 1200x600dpi. Don't be fooled by the price though, PCMagazine not only finds it fast but most importantly quality and graphics are stunning.

Phoronix reviews gives you some serious hints on how to silence your home computer once and for all. Details on how the operation can be carried out are available on the website. If you have ever tried but ultimately failed to sleep with your computer on, then it might help. Nine computer products have been used to achieve it.

Drop me a line if you think our readers will be interested in your reviews. You know where I am. µ

Authorities in several countries raided Megaupload recently, shut down all of its services, seized hundreds of servers and arrested several of its executives on criminal charges.

Do you think the move was justified?
