MSI rolls out AMD Turion 64 Megabook

Megabook supports Athlon 64 mobile too

TAIWANESE MAKER MSI has released the Mega book S270, a notebook with a 12.1-inch screen and using the Turion 64 or the Athlon 64 mobile chip.

The notebook weighs 1.9Kg and comes with an interesting spec including ATI RS480 graphics, DVD dual drive, 10/100 Ethernet LAN, an 802.11b/g card, Firewire, USB 2.0, and memory up to 2GB.

alt='msinote'MSI claims a battery life of over 3.5 hours for the notebook, which comes with options of 40GB, 60GB and 80GB hard drives, as well as including a four in one card reader and PCMCIA slot.

It looks a lot like the picture. No pricing for the notebook in its different combinations is yet available. ยต
