EVGA punts clocking app

If you love it, set it free
Fri Apr 18 2008, 08:12

GRAPHICS NUTS have no shortage of tools with which to fiddle their clock speeds, shaders, fan speeds and the like. However, that hasn't stopped the fanatics at EVGA lifting the lid on their own Windows-based tool of tweakery.

Originally dubbed the 'Advanced Graphics Tuning tool', the app lets users monitor temperatures and clock speeds, and allows for adjusting the fan speed, core and shader clocks all independently.

A few graphics manufacturers have their own OC tools for their cards, but EVGA is planning on making this one work across the board with al brands of Nvidia cards - the idea being that free advertising is better than nothing, we suppose (as well as all that gumph about giving back to the community, etc).

It ain't on virtual shelves yet, but interested parties can follow its development right here on the EVGA forums. µ
