HERE ARE SOME snaps from the launch of the Athlon 64 processors out here in Taipei today.

Why is the hall so empty? Answer, we got there early.

There were three Athlon 64 notebook designs on display. Eighty one watts might be a tad high before AMD shrinks the die.
