iTunes releases video in Europe

APPLE IS set to create online video sales in Europe, more than 15 months after the service saw the light of day in the US.

Jobs' mob have apparently been chatting away to authorities in Luxembourg which apparently will be hosting the new service.

Luxembourg's economy minister Jeannot Krecke told AFP that Appple will take its first step into conquering the European market.

Various European countries will get full-length television series as part of the plan, he said. Apple set up its iTunes Music Store in Luxembourg, because VAT is relatively low for online services by European standards.
