Epox goes for Nvidia graphics

Lining up ATI offer with mainstream cards

A LITTLE BIT more than a year ago, Epox officially said it would enter the graphic card business but it didn't make much noise about it. Epox introduced some low end ATI cards such as the Radeon 9250, and started to sell something that its motherboard customers would like to have.

Now, a year later, it finally lined up its graphic card line with some more cards, refreshing it with Nvidia cards as well. Epox did ATI cards only but now will start working with some Nvidia SLI capable cards as it needs them.

It offers the EV-P66-T GD 8 card which is its name for Geforce 6600GT card, made on green PCB and SLI compliant. It's of course a standard clocked card. The second card is EV-P660 GD 8, Geforce 6600 based with 128 MB memory as well.

Epox has two more 6600 based cards, one EV P660-SD 8/9, a red PCB card with 128 or 256 MB memory and standard eight pipelines and EV P66E-SD 8/9 powered with Geforce 6600LE featuring four pipelines, 128 or 256MB or 128 bit memory again made in red .

As for the ATI line, it now has X300SE X300, X550, X700 and AGP based Radeon 9550 and 9250 as well. I guess that most of Epox customers will pick up on its graphics cards if these guys remain price competitive. ยต
