Apple ready to jump on hybrid drive bandwagon

THE TAIPEI TIMES reports that X86 laptop clone maker Apple may be the next firm to jump on the hybrid hard drive bandwagon.

Yesterday we reported that LG will introduce a notebook with a HD drive using flash in a week or two.

And earlier this week Samsung said it had started shipping hybrids to original equipment manufacturers.
