FIRST WE had Man U exclusively licence its brand to Jump Games, now THQ Wireless has acquired the world rights to develop Playboy-branded mobile games.

Before you get too excited, although they'll follow the Playboy ethic – whatever that is – this games will only feature non-nude, bikini-clad Playmates.

The first title - Playboy Games: Pool Party - is sst to launch around Q3 2008. It will depict animated, bikini-clad Playmates at the Playboy Mansion engaged in 'pool party sports'.

These will include poolside water balloon fights; waterslide slaloms; THQ and aquatic mechanical bull riding. You notice the pair studiously avoid using the term 'water sports'.

Given the non-erotic nature of the games, the phrase 'damp sqib' comes to mind. µ
