The GDDR chips have very high transfer rates. The slowest is GDDR3 running at 2.4Gbps, with the faster GDDR4 parts
running at 2.4 and 3.2Gbps.

GDDR3 is in 256Mb densities, while GDDR4 is at 512Mb. For the pedantic, this means you need eight chips for 256MB in 3, 512MB in 4. The upcoming cards will have 16 for 1G, but we know nothing about those, honest.

The most interesting thing they had was still being unpacked when we wandered by which is why it looks so messy. You can clearly see the convertor in front, heck it takes a SO-DIMM and converts it into a DIMM.
This type of adaptor opens up some very interesting possibilities for laptops, desktops and performance SO-DIMMs.
One last thing. The silver box on the top of the PSU is one of the newest Samsung SSDs. They have a read transfer rate of 64MBps and a write of 45Mbps. We saw up to 32GB capacities but there are bigger ones available, no doubt about that. µ
