Asus dual 7800GT needs external power

WE MANAGED to grab some info about Asus' upcoming dual Geforce 7800 GT card and we learned that this will be a very limited edition, er addition.

It's expensive and for showing off, but our sources imply that there will be just 2,000 cards worldwide but that those cards will be heavily overclockable.

The card will need a laptop like power supply unit (PSU) that we managed to pixellate as you need some power to get this baby running. The card is branded as Asus Extreme N7800GT Dual Limited edition, has two DVI outs and uses a specially designed bracket.

Here are the pictures of the card and we will let you know when we learn more about availability and pricing. It won't be cheap that's for sure, but it kind of looks cool. It would be great to have two of these cards in the motherboard but you never know what the future can bring. Here are the pictures of the working prototype. µ
