Lenovo grows HP plant

THE FAMED “China effect” that was supposed to do a job on US PC makers doesn't seem to have had much of an, um,
effect so far but Lenovo is trying again with $30m in ready cash for new plants in India and Mexico.
The Mexico plant will serve the huge US market and employ about 750 staff, according to reports.
Oh, here's something for pun-seeking types: the Indian plant is in Himachal Pradesh, aka HP. That's some sauce. Geddit??? ยต
