Exciting accountants urgently required

Beancounters not boring, shock
Tuesday, 24 October 2006, 14:04
AFTER YEARS AND YEARS of being mocked for being supposedly dull, grey and boring, accountants are doing themselves no favours, with book-keeping software maker Kashflow running a competition to find the UK's most exciting accountant.

On the first of January, a group of independent excitement experts will leaf through the applicants and pick out the most exciting, or perhaps least dull of the group.

The winner of the competition will win the services of PR group 10 Yetis for a six month period.

The current favourite at the bookies is one young man who owns a purple calculator. Shortly behind him is a female candidate who once listened to music (but not on purpose). ยต
