MAKER OF THE game Motorstorm couldn't help banging on about Physics. This is by far the key point of this year's game developers conference here in the UK.

Some people got carried away with some DirectX 10 but most of the speakers wanted to talk about how good their implementation of physics is.

We saw a video of Motorstorm , which is scheduled for launch with Playstation 3. The chap is using a Havoc physics engine and you can destroy a lot of wooden houses, bridges, walls, trucks, cars, you name it, Motorstorm can destroy it. It looks quite realistic too.

You can really see some cool rigid-body collisions and interaction. It is all done in a physically correct way, at least it looks like it is. The game also supports 7.1 surround sound and has great graphics. It is scheduled to launch with the Playstation 3. Whenever that may be. ยต
