MADSHRIMPS has been having fun with their benchmarking by earning themselves HWBoints. HWBoints are part a new system used by HWbot.org to rate overclockers by the scores they generate using a variety of well known benchmarking tools.

XSreviews has been digging around inside the shiny, but rather expensive SilverStone Temjin TJ08 and have concluded that if you're willing to spend over a hundred quid on a case, then you may very well want to have a look over this slick little number.

If you're a gamer to the core, and every bit of kit you own has to be the 'gamer' edition then Virtual-Hideout has just reviewed the case that may cause some embarrassing stains. The Antec Nine Hundred Ultimate Gamer Case is curvaceous and has plenty of fans and a lot of blue neon. It is undoubtedly very sexy, but with that many fans you know it's not designed to be silent.

If your PC has to be as silent as possible and you have plenty of money to burn then HardOCP have something that may be right up your street. The Koolance PC4-1020BK Watercooled Case has a watercooling system integrated into the design so you're not fiddling around trying to a way to mount the pump or radiator. It seems to work very well, but this convenience does come with a hefty price tag.

The Black Pearl series of graphics cards are well known as being amongst the best as they come with watercooling right out the box, which means they can be overclocked a lot more than most cards in the same range. IT-review has been testing out the current big-daddy of the series, the EVGA 7950GX2 The Black Pearl. Its truly impressive performance has scored it the Editor's Choice award.

If big server machines are what get your blood pumping then you'll want to head over to Real World Technologies who have put an interesting article looking at Performance Per Watt: Dempsey and Woodcrest.

If you're wondering about upgrading to Vista when it is released, but are not sure if your old PC will be able to handle it then Ars Technica has just the review for you. They have taken the latest build of Vista and installed in on three machines of various age to see how they peform. Check out the results of Vintage Vista: running Microsoft's newest OS on your older hardware.

Bit-tech.net has reviewed the Benq FP241W, a 24" widescreen monitor, which looks like a great choice for gamers and multimedia enthusiasts looking for something in this size range. µ
