AMD: An apology

CHIP FIRM AMD has asked us to make it absolutely clear that Rip Van Winkle and the Sleeping Beauty in these photographs below are not employees of the firm.

In a statement to the INQ, AMD said: "Just to put the record straight the people in these photos are not AMD employees, they are the construction workers building the stand, before the show opened."

AMD staff, naturally, never sleep on the job. They work until they drop, engaged in their various Sisyphean tasks.

When they drop, they are kicked back onto their feet and made to work another 12 hour shift.

All of which gives us a perfect excuse to run the photos one more time. ยต
