Virgin Radio comes to Wii, PS3

VIRGIN RADIO released its player for Nintendo Wii and Sony PlayStation 3 consoles. While the webcast already existed on Wii, the company released new, optimised versions of players for owners of these two consoles.

The player has capabilities beyond the PC version, so you can either listen to Virgin Radio, watch music videos, download recordings and tracks - all for free. We are not aware of when the Xbox 360 will be supported, or if it be at all, thanks to Microsoft's policy concerning free content for its console.

It is not a technical issue, but Virgin would probably like to avoid paying money to M$ for providing free content.

Spending late nights playing Motor Storm and listening to "Drunk versus Stoned" as a feature from The Geoff Show does not seem like a bad idea. µ
