I'd rather have a bottle in front of me - than a frontal lobotomy"
For example, there are boards based on the SiS 645. Tomorrow Abit will announce its SD7-533 which will support up to 3GB of PC1600 or PC2100 memory, or 2GB of PC2700 memory, giving a bandwidth of 2.7GB/s.
The board uses SiS' MuTIOL Connect which allows bandwidth of up to 533MB/s.
It also includes a little software utility which lets overclockers and others "tweak" their front side buses (FSBs) from 100 to 165MHz in increments of one.
How do we know this? Because Abit US seems to have posted the press releases and the specifications a day ahead of time, as you can find out by going here. µ
