A TEACHER alleged to have spammed staff and pupils in Poplar Halls Elementary school by sending a system wide note, has denied that she did anything wrong.

According to the Virginian-Pilot, Laia Davidson spammed the entire list with election material for her husband, Todd Davidson.

He is standing for the Virginia Beach School Board. Network managers at the school were only aware of the spamming when they were contacted by members of the public who suddenly wanted to be removed from the list because if its spam content.

Vincent Rhodes, a school division spokesman, said the mailing violated School Board policy.

Todd Davidson, a Baptist pastor, defended his wife saying that he had received many positive notes in response to the spam.

We assume that if he is elected he will allow spam from rival candidates or anyone else who has access to the school's network.
