ECOST HAS some deals involving the controversial MIB system. First is this 32MB combined USB 2.0 portable flash drive & ink pen from Edge. After a $30 rebate, the price will be $4 - quite an interesting product and certainly a gift idea for a geek. Further down the road, there's a PcUSA 10-pack DVD-R 4x Media which is retailed for $14.99. It's free after a $14.99 rebate. Lastly, an old friend which appeared in one of our daily buys long ago the Yamakawa DVR-Y08 internal IDE DVD writer designed and produced in a technology partnership with Pioneer, whose price falls down to only $27 after a $50 rebate.

Tigerdirect also has some freebies for us after rebates of course. A 50-pack Teon Branded 52x 700MB 80 min CDR free after MIB. Some Radius DVD+R and DVD-R packs of five are free after MIB. These are printable with their jewel case and are 4x certified.

Then there's that CP technologies blue illuminated Hi Speed USB 2.0 AD Device cable. Six feet long but not retractable with a lifetime warranty. Free after rebate. And there's a last one the Cables Unlimited USB 2.0 automatic switchbox 2-to-1 peripheral sharing one upstream USB and two downstream connectors. Compatible MAC with a nice deep green stand. Perfect way to share a printer or any USB device with up to two USB computers. µ
