Physics geeks go rapping

CERN's Large Hadron Collider explained street style
Tue Aug 12 2008, 16:40

A BUNCH of geeks at CERN's Large Hadron Collider (LHC) facility in Switzerland have created a rap video to help explain the new system to the younger generation, innit.

Having successfully passed some synchronisation tests this weekend the LHC is on target for its start up on 10 September and the first high-energy collisions are planned to take place on 21 October.

So if you lack a Masters degree in particle physics, but want to know what scientists are hoping to achieve with a 27km particle accelerator and what the hell a Higgs-Boson is then check out the video.

Good show

Now, dat's what I'm talkin' 'bout, doods. Check it out!

I normally don't like rap, but this one was pretty cool, for a geek squad. Shows creativity.
