COMPUTER GEEKS sells the Sharp Zaurus SL5500 at a giveaway price of $139.99. It is a Linux based PDA with a 3.5-inch TFT LCD. With a 206MHz CPU and 80MB memory, it should prove enough for every day tasks. Add a SD card and a CF card slot to that plus a hidden typewriter keyboard and you have a real winner at a competlling price. And they also ship worldwide.

The Sagem myV-55 PAYG mobile phone is on sale at Amazon for only £39.99 and you do get free delivery with that. Just in case you asked, there's no credit included but you do get a Triband phone with an integrated VGA camera and a large 128x160 pixel screen. You might be more tempted by one of those cheeeepppp mobile phones from Virgin, all of which come with £5. You can choose between the Nokia 1100, the legendary Nokia 33110 or even the Siemens A50. If you fancy something better, then try the Nokia 2600 at only £29.99, This one comes with a colour screen.

If you're looking for a cheap MP3 player with a LCD display, then try this Acer 128MB model from CCLonline. It comes with one year warranty and compatibility with MP3 and WMA. Only £14.89+VAT. That's cheap.

Microdirect sells a PC Chips M810L socket A motherboard for only £10. There is absolutely no information about which of the seven versions of the M810L it is. If you are unlucky, you will get a board that supports only older Thunderbird Athlon CPU or older Duron ones using the 266MHz FSB. Anyway, just try your luck. The item is refurbished but provided as new.

Try Creative ex top of the range card for not such a top of the range price. Refurbished products always help. It carries only a six month warranty but most importantly, it is one of the best card available tat that price. £34.90 including VAT and delivery.
