HTC, Sprint line up against Iphone

Hoping to make dent in fashion market

TAIWANESE PHONE MAKER High Tech Computer (HTC) has inked a deal with Spring to sell its 3G "Touch" phone in the States for $250.

According to the Taipei Times, that $250 will include a two year agreement and a $100 rebate.

The move will line up the Touch against Apple's Iphone, both Sprint and HTC hope.

HTC is a subsidiary of giant Taiwanese firm Formosa Plastics, which also owns chip firm Via and memory firm Nanya, amongst others. µ
