"I don't want to interupt this little thread too much, but can I just mention that the US Postal Service gives instructions on packing Hippos for ship" -- TAMEALIEN

Poll Roundup
Ditching Delphi Well the votes are in. I guess we're here to stay for the mo. [Really? :) Ed.]

Weekly Folly
Mumble grumble mumble Don't you people have a damn life. 50 threads and Jeff only knows how many posts. Friday and Saturday the worst. TAMEALIEN is going to be pissed when he gets back.

Inquirer vs Reg I was going to write about this due to the volume. But that would be me, talking about us, talking about us.

Let's talk about cars Newbie SLOPCORNER seems to have been a hang about, and has an eye for our style. Reckon he came in with a thread concerning cars. Figured we would then move on to something else. Not bloody likely. After a little blather, The Paper boy bringing up Winders (which did sidetrack us for a bit) we got into some nitty gritty car talk. Removing window tint, Frnht posted a nice Volvo. Somehow talking about a catalytic converter got us into exploding kat poo. That's a first.

We are all Basil Faulty Almost guaranteed to be a blather thread. Turns out we got lot's of useful information. Packing instructions, for large ballerinas. A little Joshing around. When the ALIEN came in with a news item about Jedi being entered into the British census, not far into it, turned into a whole thread where Cupid took on all comers in discussing what is or is not the officially recognized religion of England, or whether there could or could not be one. Ending with, if someone stated that a religion was the official religion of England, no one could say it wasn't. Really the whole thing made not a lick of snese. You might want to read all that over again.

Scott and Larry Crikey this whole thread gives me gas. DSMITHINQ started the thread with a semi cryptic thread. Didn't do much on Friday, but came alive early Saturday. Once WHITEKNAVE came back from a prolonged absence he shoved everything off track, and not a moment to soon. Turned bad rather quickly. There was a short, if spirited, discussion on the name of Dennis the Menace's dogs name. A Little poking of Frnht. We ended with a short discussion of Hermie's Houseguests.

New Forum - proposed Delphi dumping Mikey was nice enough to set up a new forum for us. Unfortunately, it wasn't up to the standards of the geeks here. [Really? Ed. I was thinking maybe I'd run two of em - one for you set of cyberluddites and the other for young people :) ] Lots of talk about threads, tables, ASP Snitz et al. This thread has the original arsebiscuit posting.

Windows product activation - the hidden Yet another newbies geek thread talking about some computer thing-a-ma-jig. We took the time give Dr. Spinola a hard time about his corporate sponsorship. That's always fun for a bit, then some of the Limey regulars decided to throw it completely off topic with some babble. Then some discussion on Mongolian hamsters by Frnht, and Hermie recalled some exotic fish sticks he had. The hamsters were supposedly vicious, no word on the fish sticks.

Word Association 387 posts, nothing said. Worse than Mornington Bloody Crescent.

Inquirer vs Reg A little background here. Nothing pleasant really. Pretty boring until post 12 where TCB500's wife calls us all a bunch of spotty teenagers. Ended with lots of talk about some nutter going crazy at the Other Plaice's forum that shall not be named. And I mean lots of talk. 60, 70 damn posts.

Busy, crazy week. Most everyone, cept the sane ones, seem to have gotten in the word association, Newbies doing more than post and runs.

Sid Viscous Cross thread topic of the week: Arsebiscuits.
