Apple "peddles porn to punter", report

OfCom investigates

THE APPLE STORE in London has a bit of a problem on its hands after a refurbished Macbook it was flogging turned out to be packed with porn.

According to the Consumerist the used machines were being flogged at a 15 per cent discount and so an unnamed punter snapped one up for his 11 year-old daughter.

But when the daughter opened up the laptop, she no doubt had all sorts of embarrassing questions to ask about the pictures that appeared on her hard-drive.

The shocked punter has complained to Ofcom and his local MP. However, as far as evidence is concerned he might have shot his bolt a bit early. Apparently, he reformatted the drive and reinstalled OSX from his Tiger CD and removed the evidence. µ
