ATI's new chipset supports HDMI

Consumer Electronics Show 2006 High-Definition Multimedia Interface
Fri Jan 06 2006, 21:38
ATI has a new chipset with possibly even new graphics inside that is capable of running HD quality. The chipset supports High-Definition Multimedia Interface and we saw it up and running at the show floor.

We don't know any additional details but we saw that the demo was running ATI's reference board and it was connected on a huge HD capable TV set. This is what it looks like and we will try to get some more details on what new with this core. We believe it's an Intel board but we will have to ask more questions about this rather interesting product.
