TOM FOREMSKI has been exposed to Henri Richard in Sunnyvale and is showing all the signs of still reeling from the encounter.

Richard, who Charlie Demerjian recently described as the living proof that Jerry Sanders III still stalks the corridors of AMD, reckons that Intel is gonna have a very hard time indeed recovering the market share it's lost before.

Foremski also heard from "dapper" Henri that AMD is getting better yields and banging out chips at lower costs than Intel even though the brains of a PC from AMD haven't yet hit the 65 nanometre shelf.

Also, AMD and ATI know each other very well. More of this highly entertaining account, here. µ
