Nvidia releases new Vista driver

WHQL this time
Tuesday, 17 October 2006, 19:45
NVIDIA is the first to pull a Vista RC2 compatible driver out of the bag. We already warned you about this here and Nvidia kept its promise this time.

It is indeed a WHQL driver and we will try to test it as soon as possible to see is there any performance differences between this and the previous driver. We hope the new control panel is good, as the old one sucked big time. Here in the lab we were laughing how complicated was to find the easiest feature in Nvidia Control panel. Hopefully, the new one will make things better.

The driver works will all Vistas from build 5744 up and should not be used with older Vista versions. The driver includes Open GL driver for compatibility testing and improves application compatibility and performance.
