AMD man in bra walks for breast cancer victims

This was a marathon for a reason
Fri Jul 06 2007, 21:45
PETER WINGROVE of AMD UK dared to do the Moonwalk in Glasgow with 10,000 other people for the sake of people suffering breast cancer.

He raised quite a bit of money for the cause but had to spend the whole of Saturday night walking around the famous west Scottish city in the rain dressed in pink and wearing a bra.

Wingrove dressed up for the occasion for the sake of Walk the Walk and we at the INQ understand when AMD's Wingrove said: "The walk was quite challenging and made all the more so by the wet and cold conditions for the first 10+ miles but this gave way to early morning brighter conditions which made the going a lot better. With more than 10,000 walkers the ‘community spirit' was amazing and a lot of fun and I was proud to be part of it."

Unusually for the INQ, we have therefore to publish a picture of a man from AMD doing a marathon in a bra for the sake of breast cancer victims. And here it is. µ
