Abit too loud for CeBIT organisers

CeBIT 007 Sshh, people are trying to sleep here
Saturday, 17 March 2007, 19:05
WE WENT TO see people from Universal Abit, but it was weirdly silent at the booth.

Even the giveaway was done in a far more toned down manner from Thermaltake's booth in Hall 24 or Vodafone's mini-pavilion. We will not go into comparing this giveaway to the madness of Samsung-AMD-ATI World Cyber Games event that occupies the whole of Hall 22.

And we learned why - it seems that the neighbouring companies like motherboard manufacturers and smaller cooling companies, were complaining about the noise that Fatal1ty fans were bringing and complained to the organisers of the fair.

Abit was limited to one event every hour, not lasting for more than 10 minutes, so we would advise visitors of Hannover Messe to stick around their booth for ton of goodies (T-shirts, hats, bags, motherboards, even whole computers), which sadly cannot be given away all the time. µ
