Most successful Turkish hack since Battle of Varna
Fri May 19 2006, 18:59
A PROLIFIC TURKISH cracker has managed to deface more than 21,549 websites.

The cracker, who goes by the moniker "Iskorpitx" defaced the sites by sticking a snap of the Turkish flag with the face of AtaTurk on it. Below was a message which says HACKED BY iSKORPiTX TURKISH HACKER) FUCKED ARMANIAN-F*CKED FRANCE-F*CKED GREECE-F*CKED PKK TERROR iscorpitx, marque du monde, pr?sente ses salutations ? tout le monde. "

Iskorpitx has been around for a while and is a bit of an IT celeb in Turkey, it transpires. He is believed to be about 45 years old and sometimes helps script kiddies engineer perform some attacks.

It is not clear how he managed to make such a successful automated attack. It seems that all the websites were hacked, authorisation codes were by-passed and a secondary page with the message was created. µ
