Intel Prescotts listed on dealers' sites

A BRITISH DEALER is listing a number of Intel's forthcoming "Prescott" microprocessors on its web site - but without prices as yet.

The items listed are the Pentium 4E 3.40GHz, 3.20GHz, 3.0GHz and 2.80GHz.

In December we reported that SKUs were available for a number of Prescotts.

The latest information we've seen about Intel's plans shows that it plans to introduce these speed grades, using the 478 socket, in late January, early February.
