Apple patches a shedload of security glitches

Mac users may safely graze

ELECTRONIC TOYMAKER Apple has addressed almost 100 vulnerabilities in its products. A number are rated 'serious' and could be used for nefarious purposes.

Security update 2008-002 is out for all versions of OS X Tiger and Leopard and is available through Apple's software update.

Twenty of the updates fix problems with the Mac version of the antivirus product ClamAV alone and the glitches seem to affect just about every component of the OS, according to this untrained eye. µ
